Key Responsibilities

•Running requests for information from authorities or external stakeholders
•Support with the implementation of regulation and compliance projects
•Proactively keeping up to date with new legislation and market developments whilst anticipating any upcoming legal change and ensuring Booking.com’s compliance
•Working closely with other team members and the wider Legal & Public Affairs department to ensure the team is aligned across jurisdictions and on-going cases
•Efficiently collecting and analysing input from business teams, partnering with other legal teams, and escalating any critically strategic decisions
•Presenting and providing recommendations on complex matters, advising Booking.com’s leadership team on legal risks and the appropriate trade offs
•Actively maintaining legal budget for owned matters, ensuring external counsel are effectively managed
