Key Responsibilities
- Learn what mechanisms and solution directions are on the topic: photodegradation of surfaces/coatings
- Study the impact of light and water on compositional similar coatings, but with a variation in the outer surface composition
- Measure and analyze: UV Vis absorption, Adv/Rec contact angle ( before/after exposure with/without water), Surface free energy of coating, to establish the impact on dispersive/polar component of, Surface composition by XPS/ToF-SIMS
- Work in research labs and collaborate with experts
- Write a report and present your conclusions and recommendations
