Key Responsibilities

•Qualify new suppliers by running CTQ definition sessions with suppliers and R&D, and reviewing process flows, SIPOCs, DFMEAs, and measurement reports.
•Assess supplier capability using Cp/Cpk and develop contingency plans when formal capability data is unavailable.
•Close out supplier approvals including visual approvals, master sample approval, quality agreements, and tooling agreements.
•Plan and conduct periodic audits of qualified suppliers to ensure processes, tooling, and controls remain consistent.
•Build and maintain supplier scorecards tracking defect rates, on-time delivery, responsiveness, and corrective-action closure.
•Manage supplier failures end-to-end: containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and verification.
•Serve as the single quality voice for all supplier quality conversations across qualification and production.
•Maintain quality documentation such as control plans, SIPOCs, measurement reports, and PSWs.
