Key Responsibilities

•Find the cost: map money and risk in parts, freight, duty, warehousing, waste, lead times.
•Build the pipeline: find, approach, audit, and qualify suppliers before needed.
•Negotiate key inputs and land reductions that show up in margin.
•Own contracts: set supplier agreements and ensure terms are met.
•Build fallback: qualify alternate sources on critical parts.
•Source for what's next: drive commercial funnel on new product development (RFQs, audits, qualification, negotiation).
•Model trade-offs: fully-landed cost, TCO, breakeven models; renegotiate payment terms.
