Key Responsibilities

•Define and evolve the architecture of data pipelines, data marts, and platform components using Azure, Databricks, and modern data stack tools.
•Drive adoption of best practices in data modelling, observability, and DevOps; champion AI-assisted development and testing.
•Lead transformation into agentic coding practices; guide teams in leveraging GenAI-powered development tools effectively.
•Act as technical advisor across teams (Integrations, Ingestion, Batch/Stream processing, Data marts, Reporting, Modernization, Gen AI).
•Mentor senior and mid-level engineers; lead technical reviews, solution design sessions, and platform-wide initiatives.
•Stay ahead of industry trends; partner with architects to evolve technology strategy.
•Collaborate with architecture, product, and business teams to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
•Create clear, comprehensive documentation for engineering processes, configurations, and best practices.
•Troubleshoot complex issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.
•Build prototypes to test ideas; conduct rigorous testing for reliability, scalability, and performance.
