Key Responsibilities

•Lead all business control activities for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Czechia cluster
•Act as a trusted sparring partner to Station Manager(s), challenging assumptions and supporting data-driven decision-making
•Provide clear financial and operational insights to improve commercial and operational performance
•Work closely with operations, sales and other stakeholders to understand operational and commercial drivers
•Develop a deep understanding of data and be able to clearly tell the story behind the numbers
•Support Station Manager(s) with the annual budgeting process
•Prepare, analyze and present monthly financial and operational performance reviews
•Combine financial and non-financial KPIs to explain performance drivers
•Perform detailed budget vs. actual analyses to identify budget gaps, risks and improvement areas
•Conduct profitability analysis by customer, modality, and key business drivers
•Identify and quantify cost, volume, and margin improvement opportunities
•Act as the right hand to Station Manager(s) on ad-hoc performance-related questions
•Prepare scenario analyses and business cases to support operational and commercial decisions
