Key Responsibilities
- Own the financial administration of multiple legal entities, taking end-to-end responsibility from invoice processing to reporting.
- Act as the right hand to the Finance Manager and support the day-to-day coordination of Record-to-Report activities.
- Support month-end close processes, helping to plan, prioritise, and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, estimates, and corrections.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities prior to consolidation.
- Partner with colleagues across stores and HQ, providing meaningful financial insights and support.
- Support payroll accounting processes and perform related reconciliations.
- Assist with cash management activities, including payment runs and VAT submissions.
- Maintain fixed asset and prepaid expense registers and ensure related reconciliations are accurate.
- Contribute to business cases, financial analyses, and other ad hoc projects.
- Support the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting, and ways of working.
