Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example: spend significant time on IC work (writing code, reviewing code, leading projects, on-call)
- Manage 4-8 mid-to-senior engineers: provide context, coach, give regular feedback
- Maintain technical vision for area of responsibility
- Collaborate with Product Manager and Service Owner to shape product vision and plans
- Optimize service control plane to create and manage 20K GPU nodes in a single Kubernetes cluster
- Integrate cluster autoscaling approaches like Karpenter
- Provide Kubernetes-native way to use local disks to reduce disk I/O bottlenecks
- Deliver managed Layer 7 load balancers
