Key Responsibilities
- Prepare or support cost estimates based on Scope of Work and Work Breakdown Structure
- Develop cost price calculations, including risk identification and risk budgeting
- Build cash flow forecasts to support cost and pricing reviews
- Coordinate input from engineering, operations, and other internal stakeholders
- Manage RFQs and evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals
- Produce cost reports for tender and sales reviews
- Highlight risks, challenge assumptions, and advise on mitigation
- Contribute to improving cost databases and estimating methods
- Take ownership of cost estimates, including cost price calculations and pricing towards clients (senior level)
- Prepare and present different cost views and estimate variations to support decision-making (senior level)
- Interface with Project Managers and Project Controllers after contract award to set up cost control and reporting (senior level)
- Support and coach junior estimators within the team (senior level)
