Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all engineering systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
- Lead, schedule, and support the engineering team
- Manage and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment, guest rooms, and public areas
- Respond swiftly to maintenance requests or emergencies
- Collaborate with department heads to support operational needs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Manage contractors, service providers, and external inspections
- Monitor and optimise energy use, utilities, and maintenance budgets
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and assist with capital planning
- Train team on safety, emergency procedures, and best practices
