Key Responsibilities

•Oversee accurate and timely payroll for 1,300 colleagues across 34 stores.
•Investigate and resolve complex payroll queries, discrepancies, and system-related blockers.
•Supervise, coach, and train payroll associates.
•Own end-to-end onboarding of new payroll team members.
•Proactively identify operational risks and propose mitigation plans.
•Coordinate and maintain payroll planning tools.
•Measure team performance and identify process improvements.
•Ensure compliance with Dutch tax legislation, labour law, and pension regulations.
•Prepare and deliver monthly payroll reports for senior management and Finance.
•Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
•Support Finance during payroll audits.
•Manage payroll systems AFAS and MANUS.
•Collaborate with managers and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
•Act as a senior role model within the team.
