Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach and develop the Melbourne GTDocs team
•Bring practising legal judgement to design and supervision of review strategy, relevance, privilege, confidentiality, redaction, production, issue coding, evidence preparation and escalation workflows
•Scope, price, resource and manage complex reviews across disputes, class actions, regulatory investigations, competition and consumer matters, internal investigations, cyber incident responses, due diligence and transaction support
•Work directly with partners, senior lawyers and clients to translate legal issues into review protocols, assumptions, dashboards, quality controls, reporting and decision points
•Oversee first-level review, second-level review, quality assurance, privilege review, confidentiality review, redactions, production checks, consistency analysis and risk escalation
•Use review data to give strategic insight on progress, review rates, responsiveness, privilege, quality outcomes, budget, completion risk and options for narrowing or accelerating review
•Partner with Legal Informatics and Legal Project Management to apply the right mix of people, process and technology
•Use, provide guidance on, and embed Generative AI tools in review and evidence workflows
•Manage onshore and offshore resourcing, including allocation, supervision and quality control of internal team members, contractors and provider resources
•Create and maintain review playbooks, protocols, templates, training, matter debriefs and reusable process assets
•Act as senior Melbourne point of contact for GTDocs and strengthen relationships with practice groups, clients and specialist teams
