Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of statutory financial statements and associated disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
- Manage the ASX reporting cycle, ensuring compliance with continuous disclosure, periodic reporting, and governance requirements.
- Provide technical accounting leadership on complex areas including revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial instruments, business combinations, and consolidation matters.
- Draft technical accounting papers to support key judgements, estimates, and accounting treatments.
- Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and support the development of accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement in reporting processes, close procedures, documentation quality, and financial systems upstream data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including Legal, Risk, Operations, and Commercial—to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong governance.
- Provide training and guidance to finance and operational staff on accounting standards and reporting requirements.
