Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to site leadership and management teams across Australia
- Provide guidance on industrial relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and performance management
- Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and employment regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional employment legislation and advise leadership on risk mitigation
- Support audits (internal and external), ensuring accurate HR records and documentation
- Ensure EnerMech policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are consistently applied across the region
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience
- Advise on compensation, benefits, and market benchmarking in alignment with company frameworks
- Support annual performance review cycles and talent development processes
- Coach managers on effective performance management and development planning
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives where required
- Ensure accurate employee data management within HR systems
- Support payroll and benefits administration in partnership with regional and global HR teams
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to support business decisions
- Travel regularly across the country to provide on-site HR support and maintain strong relationships with local teams
- Act as a consistent HR presence, ensuring alignment and continuity
