Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a strategic advisor to site leadership and management teams across Australia
  • •Provide guidance on industrial relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and performance management
  • •Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
  • •Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and employment regulations
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional employment legislation and advise leadership on risk mitigation
  • •Support audits (internal and external), ensuring accurate HR records and documentation
  • •Ensure EnerMech policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are consistently applied across the region
  • •Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience
  • •Advise on compensation, benefits, and market benchmarking in alignment with company frameworks
  • •Support annual performance review cycles and talent development processes
  • •Coach managers on effective performance management and development planning
  • •Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives where required
  • •Ensure accurate employee data management within HR systems
  • •Support payroll and benefits administration in partnership with regional and global HR teams
  • •Prepare HR reports and metrics to support business decisions
  • •Travel regularly across the country to provide on-site HR support and maintain strong relationships with local teams
  • •Act as a consistent HR presence, ensuring alignment and continuity
