DevOps Engineer

EML, a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain automation pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD workflows. Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and custom scripts to automate deployments across on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware, Kubernetes).
•Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, automating provisioning, scaling, and recovery while ensuring alignment with APRA CPS 234 and ISO 27001.
•Implement observability tools (Datadog, PRTG, Grafana, Prometheus & AWS/Azure native tools) to ensure system health, support incident response, and contribute to disaster recovery strategies.
•Embed DevSecOps best practices, manage secrets via Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in collaboration with Security teams.
•Design, deploy, and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes (on-prem vanilla clusters), including optimising orchestration for scalability, performance, and security.
•Partner with AI, Security, and Infrastructure teams to integrate cloud strategies with ML/AI solutions, while maintaining robust documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
