- Develop functional descriptions and basic engineering documents of automated processes for ship systems.
- Develop and maintain specification documents of automation components and installation processes.
- Write test and validation plans for compliance with Class regulations and customer requirements.
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely project contribution.
- Review and implement vendor designs into vessel design.
- Develop standards and working methods for detailed engineering and commissioning.
- Support proposal stages by developing conceptual designs of system automation.
- Provide technical support or commissioning activities for projects under contract.
