Key Responsibilities
- Act as a connected business partner with stakeholders on projects with a cross functional impact
- Design, implement and test new business initiatives
- Provide and communicate to stakeholders the required accounting reporting and process requirements
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to onboard and scale Payments Service Providers (PSPs)
- Actively drive continuous process improvements and innovations
- Work closely with Business Intelligence and Data teams to design, implement and test reporting for new initiatives
- Complete the monthly closing process, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Review and perform variance analysis on balance sheet and profit and loss accounts during the closing procedures
- Work closely with external providers (local accountants and external auditors) to ensure compliance with local regulations
- Help the team meet and exceed department goals
