Key Responsibilities

•Partner with teams throughout the product development lifecycle, advising on product design, new features and launches.
•Provide practical advice across relevant Australian laws and regulations, including consumer credit, privacy and other regulatory frameworks.
•Build trusted relationships with Product and Commercial teams.
•Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial arrangements.
•Help translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical considerations for product design and commercial arrangements.
•Develop a deep understanding of Zip's products, customers, commercial priorities and regulatory environment.
•Identify legal and regulatory risks early, communicate them clearly and constructively challenge where needed.
•Partner with external law firms where specialist advice is required.
•Contribute expertise to strategic initiatives across Zip.
