- Own end-to-end science roadmaps for a product domain
- Partner with Product, Engineering and Design to frame problems and define success metrics
- Drive experimentation from discovery through to decision and iteration
- Lead measurement strategy for your area
- Shape how AI is applied to analytics and agentic use cases
- Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on complex and ambiguous problems
- Build reusable analytical assets adopted across pods
- Mentor data scientists
- Help shape standards and tooling for the wider data science community
- Define measurement, evaluation metrics and guardrails for AI powered product features and agentic experiences
- Productionise decision, ranking or risk models in partnership with engineering
- Build and extend reusable analytical assets, including canonical metrics and experimentation tooling
- Establish patterns for using AI and automation to accelerate team workflows
