Key Responsibilities

•Take complete technical ownership of the Discovery team's services, ensuring scalability, high availability, and structural soundness.
•Design resilient, decoupled distributed systems using event-driven architectures.
•Champion DevSecOps practices, embedding automated security scanning and strict IAM principles.
•Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, driving automated testing and deployment strategies.
•Act as financial guardian (FinOps) of the domain, monitoring and optimizing AWS infrastructure spend.
•Provide technical steering for Generative AI and RAG architectures, integrating tools like AWS Bedrock safely and cost-effectively.
•Partner with the Engineering Manager to balance delivery with architectural health and technical debt reduction.
•Collaborate with stakeholders and designers to deconstruct technical concepts and write user stories.
•Write clean, resilient backend services using Node.js and TypeScript on AWS.
•Provide technical mentorship, lead architectural workshops, and run code reviews.
