Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to senior leaders and teams across the Group
- Partner with the business on new products, projects, acquisitions, regulatory change and improvements to our systems and services
- Advise on the design and governance of AI-enabled tools and processes across legal, regulatory, contractual, privacy and ethical considerations
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of supplier, technology, distribution, service and other commercial agreements
- Advise across consumer credit, AML/CTF, competition and consumer law, franchising, real estate licensing, corporate, employment, intellectual property and related regulatory matters
- Provide legal guidance on complex customer complaints and support engagement with regulators, government agencies and industry bodies
- Advise on privacy, confidentiality and the appropriate management and use of customer information
- Help improve the Legal team's processes, templates and tools to make legal support more efficient and scalable
- Oversee external legal providers, including scope, quality and budget, while identifying opportunities to reduce external legal spend
