Key Responsibilities
- Act as an influential leader and technical subject matter expert, reporting directly to the General Manager Gridsight ANZ.
- Serve as an in-house subject matter expert on power distribution systems.
- Provide technical leadership for customer teams transitioning to Gridsight-powered workflows.
- Understand the digital and systems landscape of utilities and how their tech stack is evolving to enable DSO.
- Represent Gridsight's platform and product stack and the value our capabilities create.
- Play a central role in commercial discovery, helping identify utilities that can build strong internal cases for adopting Gridsight.
- Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Support the commercial team in preparing bids, tenders, RFIs/RFPs, innovation funding applications, and partner proposals.
- Act as the technical authority in customer calls and workshops, influencing decision-makers.
- Lead the end-to-end technical onboarding process for new utility customers.
- Work closely with customers to understand their network characteristics, operational requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Act as a customer-facing extension of Product as a 'forward deployed engineer'.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to feed in Australian market requirements.
- Advise customers on best practices for data management, engineering analytics, digital workflows, and AI-driven insights.
- Identify opportunities for additional value-added services, expanded deployments, and product enhancements.
- Represent Gridsight at Australian industry groups, conferences, webinars, and technical forums.
- Co-develop and present case studies, white papers, and technical insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
