Key Responsibilities

  • •Work alongside members of ASX Supervision to understand pain points, process improvement opportunities using data analytics and deliver data analytics solutions to a wide variety of business problems.
  • •Develop a deep understanding of the financial markets including clearing and settlement facilities, participant systems, operations and connectivity models, and the Operating Rules and an understanding of their application
  • •Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders to support management decision-making and assist the function with monitoring and enforcing the Operating Rules
  • •Design, develop and maintain various data products including dashboards, automated reports and monitoring tools to support the work of the wider ASX Supervision function.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally across ASX with stakeholders and project teams to discover and source data, understand business processes, gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions that meet the requirements of ASX Supervision
  • •Prepare timely and high-quality reports for executive, board, management and regulatory submissions
  • •Maintain good record-keeping, documentation and knowledge of data products, reporting processes and data sources
  • •Undertake data management initiatives such as data quality monitoring, reconciliations, data validations and remediation to ensure the integrity of our regulatory and management reporting.
