Key Responsibilities
- Explore solutions and add new designs blending all requirements.
- Implement design using Creo 3D CAD and provide drawings and 3D files.
- Schedule and manage peer and cross-functional design reviews.
- Structure bill of materials (BOM), release and change product using Agile PLM.
- Provide 3D models for thermal simulations.
- Provide PCB design drawings and 3D files to ECAD team.
- Work with CMs and suppliers to address DFM concerns.
- Check prototypes against 3D MCAD design and debug issues.
- Communicate manufacturing issues to CM.
- Travel to suppliers to troubleshoot or expedite builds.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings for production sustaining issues.
