Key Responsibilities
- Develop approvals strategies and pathways for projects (statutory planning and environment), including options analysis, critical path, and schedule risk/float
- Manage approvals risk, cost and schedule for projects and integrate these within the overarching project risk registers and cost and schedule estimates
- Obtain all relevant environment and planning approvals required to execute projects
- Build trusted relationships with regulators and decision makers such as DEECA, DTP, DCCEEW, EPA, FP-SR
- Appoint and manage external consultants, such as community engagement, cultural heritage and ecology specialists, through the preparation of scope and deliverables for packages of work and manage their performance
- Ensure all project activities comply with statutory obligations, internal policies and requirements, including tracking and auditing obligations to support governance and assurance
