Key Responsibilities
- Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with approved specifications, drawings, and change controls.
- Ensure timely delivery of long-lead and critical items to support engineering builds, validation activities, and production schedules.
- Support Coordination of RFQs, supplier technical reviews, and cost analyses for complex, engineered parts and tooling.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to source newly designed tooling, fixtures, and custom components from prototype through production release.
- Provide support to identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers in compliance with medical device quality system requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
