Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders to provide a broad range of legal support across the Energy Assets remit, focusing on operations, asset management, energy industry transition and site rehabilitation.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including EPC (and other project delivery contracts), O&M agreements, services and supply agreements.
- Support Energy Assets by advising on contract interpretation and administration issues and disputes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and influence within the business, applying internal context to all legal advice to support achievement of business imperatives and to protect AGL's legal position.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of legal services.
- Build expertise across the team's scope and manage relationships with external counsel.
- Manage legal risks, provide strategic advice on regulatory impacts, and facilitate efficient group legal operations.
