- Prepare, season, and cook food in accordance with menu specifications
- Plan and organise food preparation across service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
- Store food correctly and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and checking kitchen supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas
- Lead the team during service and assist with roster and timesheets
- Contribute to continuous improvement of kitchen operations
