Key Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining robust data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, and modeling, using tools such as Airflow, dbt, and PySpark.
- Engineering ingestion from diverse sources into cloud storage and warehouses, handling schema drift and late-arriving data.
- Building and evolving layered data models that are reusable, well-documented, and performant for downstream analytics and AI use cases.
- Provisioning and managing cloud data infrastructure on Azure and/or AWS.
- Operating and optimizing platforms like Databricks and Snowflake for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Partnering closely with data analytics engineers, analysts, and data scientists to expose clean, well-modeled datasets.
