Key Responsibilities

•Designing and building distributed backend services that perform under substantial load
•Developing event-driven workflows, with thought given to concurrency, failure handling and recovery
•Building APIs and data pipelines that move and process large volumes of information
•Developing backend capabilities that support AI-driven automation
•Investigating production bottlenecks and improving database performance, scalability and reliability
•Helping make architectural decisions, including when to simplify, when to redesign and when something is perfectly good enough
•Taking ownership from the initial discussion through deployment and into production
