Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute sourcing strategies for mechatronics, precision metals, and electromechanical assemblies.
- Partner with Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineers during early design phases, advising on DFM, lead times, and cost structures.
- Build deep, trust-based relationships with key global suppliers and European partners, implementing SLAs to monitor OTIF and quality metrics.
- Identify potential material shortages and single-source risks in advance to protect the production line.
- Lead Make vs Buy analyses for complex mechatronic sub-assemblies, drafting Statements of Work and managing knowledge transfer roadmaps.
- Negotiate framework contracts, pricing structures, and tooling agreements to lower Total Cost of Ownership.
- Maintain clean BOM configurations, lead times, and pricing inside SAP or Odoo.
