Key Responsibilities

•Advise on corporate law, administration, governance, and regulation for QBE Europe SA/NV.
•Support the Chief Legal Officer, Company Secretary and Head of Legal Europe on Dutch legal matters.
•Provide legal support to Dutch management teams on reinsurance and insurance wordings, distribution, disputes.
•Advise on general commercial contracts for the Dutch offices.
•Negotiate with third parties to bring contracts to execution and completion.
•Assist with dispute resolution and claims matters.
•Develop awareness of legal risk and a risk management culture.
•Manage existing processes and controls for legal risk management.
•Monitor upcoming legal developments and advise on impact.
•Build and maintain relationships with clients within the business.
