Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare periodic reconciliations, account analyses, NAV calculations, financial statements for specific purposes, and journal entries for capital transactions and other Corporate Accounting areas.
  • Review balance sheets of special purpose vehicles and deliver the related accounting analysis.
  • Coordinate accounting activities for acquisitions, liquidations, mergers, and dispositions with the European Accounting team.
  • Support corporate income tax accounting for several European countries.
  • Ensure accounting activities comply with applicable local accounting rules, U.S. GAAP, IFRS, company accounting policies, and SOX internal controls.
  • Communicate with internal and external auditors and respond to project and ad hoc accounting requests as needed.
  • Identify process-improvement opportunities and support the development and implementation of new accounting procedures.
