Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary finance partner to Business Line leadership and be a member of the Business Line Management Team that can identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash generation and return on invested capital.
- Co-develop and help execute the business line strategy, investment decisions and growth plans.
- Provide visibility to management on performance through independent, fact-based insights, risks and opportunities.
- Drive data-driven decision making across the business line by establishing clear KPIs and targets.
- Support and constructively challenge strategic, commercial and operational decisions.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes for the Business Line optimizing accuracy and transparency of assumptions.
- Translate operational developments into financial implications.
- Support investment prioritization and resource allocation decisions.
- Provide context in meaningful management reporting and performance analysis.
- Partner with commercial, operations and R&D teams to evaluate growth opportunities.
- Improve understanding of product, customer and market profitability.
- Contribute to the professionalization and evolution of the broader finance function through adoption of analytics, automation and AI-enabled finance tools.
- Act as role model for analytical excellence, business acumen and ownership.
- Contribute to the development of the next generation of finance leaders within Prodrive through coaching and development of Business Controllers and/or Business Analysts where applicable.
- Participate in cross-business initiatives and finance transformation programs.
