Key Responsibilities
- Design the foundations and technical roadmap of the AI layer within the Hume platform, specifically focusing on Hume Maestro.
- Actively contribute to the codebase, setting the standard for technical excellence, performance, and scalability in our AI components.
- Work within a shared decision-making structure alongside Product Managers and our Chief Scientist to align technical execution with product vision and priorities.
- Partner with the broader Hume team (including front-end and platform engineers) to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into the user experience.
- Drive best practices in AI/ML engineering, including model evaluation, deployment pipelines, and maintainable code structures.
- As the AI function expands, transition from an individual contributor/lead role into building and mentoring a dedicated AI engineering team.
