Key Responsibilities

• •Own and drive the effectiveness of first line operational risk and control practices across MBE
• •Define, implement, and continuously enhance the FLR&C operating model
• •Lead and develop a team of three Risk & Control professionals
• •Establish and maintain a robust internal control framework aligned with the Group ORM framework
• •Translate risk policies into practical tools and templates
• •Coordinate and maintain risk and control inventories
• •Drive high-quality RCSA execution
• •Take ownership of the Key Control Testing (KCT) programme
• •Oversee issue and remediation management
• •Provide insightful risk analysis and management information
• •Prepare and deliver risk and control reporting to governance committees
• •Act as primary first line counterpart to the COO on risk and control
• •Establish and chair governance forums such as the Control Committee
• •Build a strong first line risk culture
• •Partner with senior stakeholders to provide challenge and support on strategic initiatives
• •Collaborate with second line Risk and Audit
• •Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
• •Lead talent development and succession planning
• •Promote MUFG's values-led culture
