Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a group of around 20 Software Engineers distributed over 2 to 3 teams, ensuring they perform at their best, thrive their potential and achieve their goals.
  • Advocate for both people and company needs, ensuring a balanced approach that supports both the growth of tech specialists and company strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure the teams are delivering the expected quality.
  • Facilitate and support the Agile Way of working of teams where needed, by being present and participating in team meetings or events, or facilitate workshops and sessions on topics like feedback, way of working or other (agile) practices.
  • Foster the happiness and satisfaction of engineers, providing opportunities for them to transition between teams if desired.
  • Track key metrics such as employee net promoter score (NPS), team health, retention rates, and the personal development of team members.
  • Work with the HR Team to ensure the Software Engineers are set for success and aligned with the company’s expansion.
  • Oversee capacity planning and coordinate the performance cycle for employees as well as help lead to the implementation of the growth framework.
