Key Responsibilities
- Map business processes end to end, from initial triggers and inputs through final outcomes, responsibilities, and ownership.
- Break complex processes into clear steps, decision points, business rules, data requirements, systems, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Identify relationships and dependencies between business processes and the systems supporting them.
- Convert process knowledge into clear, structured, reusable documentation and maintain a consistent company knowledge base.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, redesign, optimise, or automate existing processes.
- Analyse the potential impact of proposed improvements, including time savings, reduced manual work, fewer errors, and lower operating costs.
- Design and iteratively refine TO-BE processes in collaboration with process owners and relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with technical teams during development and testing to ensure business requirements and logic are correctly implemented.
- Validate solutions, identify missing or contradictory rules, and resolve newly discovered edge cases and business requirements.
- Continuously update requirements, process documentation, business logic, and workflows as the business and underlying systems evolve.
- Use AI tools to structure interviews and discussions, create initial process maps, identify gaps and contradictions, analyse processes, and maintain business knowledge.
- Identify opportunities where AI and automation can reduce manual analysis and documentation work while maintaining the quality and accuracy of business logic.
- Measure process improvements where relevant to determine whether expected operational and business outcomes have been achieved.
