Key Responsibilities
- Lead EHS planning and execution support for turnarounds, shutdowns, projects, major maintenance and high-risk work.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Turnaround teams and contractors to identify risks early and agree practical controls.
- Facilitate and challenge risk assessments for non-routine work, simultaneous operations, permit-to-work interfaces and contractor activities.
- Provide visible field coaching during planning and execution, escalating where controls are unclear, impractical or ineffective.
- Support investigations, audits, walkdowns and corrective action follow-up as part of day-to-day plant EHS delivery.
- Coordinate specialist support for fire risk, PPE, respiratory protection, asbestos, gas measurement and translate legal, Seveso and site EHS requirements into practical procedures and controls.
