Key Responsibilities

•Ultimately responsible for the Shipping department
•Manage a team of two colleagues in the Netherlands and one colleague in China, with daily contact
•Responsible for large international projects, initiating them in collaboration with Purchasing, monitoring the process, and tracking delivery and distribution
•Daily contact with Purchasing, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, and Warehouse departments regarding ongoing customer orders, delivery times, and special requests
•Monitor costs, service levels, delivery times, and exceptions
•Respond to process issues in a timely manner
•Prepare invoicing of orders for the Finance department
•Proactively suggest improvements
•Weekly reporting to the COO
