Key Responsibilities

•Pilot and operate UAV platforms in test, R&D, and field environments
•Ensure platforms are flight-ready through pre-flight, post-flight, and maintenance routines
•Perform system checks on airframes, propulsion, power, RC links, telemetry, payloads, and onboard compute
•Prepare platforms for test days by charging batteries, checking logs, verifying configurations, updating firmware
•Plan and execute flight test campaigns
•Troubleshoot flight readiness issues in the field
•Develop, maintain, and debug interface layer between flight controllers and autonomy stack
•Work with embedded Linux systems (Jetson, Orange Pi, Raspberry Pi)
•Lead hardware integration: design mounts, route wiring, integrate sensors and compute
•Solder, assemble, repair, and prototype wiring and parts
•3D-print parts and contribute to workshop solutions
•Support deployment and field testing of autonomy software
•Provide technical feedback to engineering team
•Maintain and improve standard operating procedures
•Travel to test sites or partner sites, including internationally
•Keep platforms organized, maintained, documented
