Key Responsibilities

•Own embedded features end to end, from requirements through implementation, testing and flashing to the hardware
•Work on STM32 microcontrollers in both RTOS and bare metal environments
•Work on interaction between hardware, firmware and software layers above, including digital dashboard and Android team
•Spend roughly half time on new development and half on understanding and stabilising existing code
•Move codebase from C and older C++14 patterns toward modern C++, with long term goal of C++23
•Build out unit and system level testing
•Participate in code reviews and shared standards
•Raise technical bar for engineers, including juniors
