Key Responsibilities
- Managing AI notified body and AI certification body schemes globally within ISO17021/ISO17065/ISO17025 and other applicable accreditation and legislation requirements (e.g., EU AI Act, Medical Devices Regulation)
- Leading the development and maintenance of Conformity Assessment Activity to allow providers and manufacturers to demonstrate that their technology and processes conform to the provisions of EU AI Regulations, applicable standards, and global regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that BSI has the relevant policies, procedures and documentation in place to meet all latest AI regulatory obligations
- Ensuring that NB, AI Services and AIMS personnel work is consistently at the required high level of expertise and rigour
- Providing policy, input and expertise on AI technical and AI management systems assessment and developing related certification schemes
- Representing BSI in relevant AI events, forums, stakeholder engagement and working groups on AI
