Key Responsibilities
- Pioneer solutions in unscripted and unstructured problem spaces, rapidly iterating on physical prototypes to prove technical feasibility.
- Take complete ownership of end-to-end engineering tasks, actively seeking out and eliminating technical roadblocks.
- Design, write, and maintain robust, high-performance software and AI algorithms (perception, control, motion planning, and human-robot interaction) on embedded physical robotic hardware.
- Lead hands-on integration, debugging, field testing, and deployment of physical robotic platforms and autonomous hardware systems in real-world customer environments.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware-in-the-loop, sensor calibration, and physical system failure modes directly in live operational settings.
- Serve as a key customer-facing technical interface, gathering operational requirements and presenting complex technical concepts, capabilities, and system performance metrics clearly to client stakeholders and site operators.
- Translate customer operational challenges into actionable software, AI, and hardware requirements.
